Yesterday’s Pop Up Art Party at The Hatch was a great success!
Organized as a fundraiser for both myself and local artist Miranda Thomas, in preparation for our upcoming trip west, we invited fellow artisan vendors, local musicians AND had a painting workshop!
Both Miranda & I had some artworks and items available for purchase this evening with 100% of the proceeds going towards our goal. Both Canvas Painting with Tanya and Philanthroweaves set up with us for the evening, too!
Doors opened at 6 for patrons to shop, socialize, snack and enjoy the live music by local musicians Megan Hopkins & Dave Vogt.
At 7 we started the canvas painting workshop, where both Miranda & I took turns teaching a group of supportive and talented folks how to paint one of my pieces ‘Mother Majesty.’
It was a great success and a great way to kick off our journey!
We can’t say thank you enough to everyone who has shown us their support!
